Before the tenancy starts: |
Holding deposit equivalent to one weeks' rent - refundable if the tenant proceeds with tenancy. Nonrefundable if the tenant fails the Right to Rent check or withdraws from the tenancy |
One month's rent, payable in advance |
Deposit equivalent to five weeks' rent if the rent is less than £50,000 per annum |
Deposit equivalent to six weeks' rent if the rent exceeds £50,000 per annum |
During your tenancy: |
Payment of daily interest for late, unpaid, and returned payments of rent at a rate of 3% above Bank of England base rate |
Utilities (gas, electricity, water and telephone) |
Council Tax |
Television Licence |
£50 fee for changes to the tenancy |
Communications services (internet, cable / satellite television) |
£50 fee for replacement of a lost key/security device |
Stamp Duty - this is payable on tenancies where the cumulative rent exceeds £125,000 and should be paid directly to HMRC |
